Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is China's only international university named after "Language" with the primary mission of promoting the Chinese language and culture, often honored as a "Mini-United Nations." "eBLCU" (eBLCU.com) is a cross-border distance International Chinese Education platform hosted by the College of Continuing Education of Beijing Language and Culture University. It provides high-quality Chinese education services to overseas students, encompassing online Chinese courses, Chinese cultural experiences, and comprehensive learning support.

2. Target Students

Aimed at non-native Chinese speaking youth aged 6-16, both of Chinese heritage and non-heritage.
Absolute beginners need to possess basic English listening and speaking skills.

3. Curriculum System

1) Youth Chinese - Foundation Edition

Suitable for overseas children and youth who are absolute beginners or at an elementary level in Chinese.
Helps children build a solid Chinese foundation, master basic communication skills, and understand Chinese culture.
The curriculum is aligned with the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines.

2) Youth Chinese - Expansion Edition

✓ Suitable for youth who have a basic foundation in listening and speaking and are growing up in a bilingual environment.
✓ Enhances the accuracy of spoken Chinese expression and Chinese character literacy skills.
The curriculum is aligned with IB Chinese and the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education.

3) Youth Chinese - Advanced Edition

Suitable for overseas heritage youth with a relatively strong foundation in Chinese listening and speaking.
Enhances Chinese reading and writing skills, and cultivates literary proficiency and cross-cultural understanding.
The curriculum is aligned with the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office's Chinese curriculum outline.

5. Class Schedule

Live lesson schedules can be coordinated within the time frame of 9:00-21:00 Beijing Time, Monday through Sunday. Specific fixed time slots will be arranged flexibly based on the student's time zone.

6. Class Opening Policy

Small group classes will open upon reaching a minimum of 3 students. If the class minimum is not met, students can choose to pay the price difference to switch to 1-on-1 lessons or apply for a full refund.
1-on-1 lessons are typically scheduled to start within one week after payment (adjustable based on student needs).

7. Learning Process

Placement Test & Trial Lesson → Preview → Live Lesson → Complete Homework & Receive Teacher Feedback → Final Exam → Apply for Certificate of Completion upon Passing

8. Teaching Platform

Instruction and services are primarily conducted through the official "eBLCU" platform (www.eblcu.com). Depending on the network conditions in the student's region, teaching via the ClassIn platform is also supported.
