1. Theme

My Story about Learning Chinese

2. Participants

International student alumni in BLCU (international students who have studied or are studying Chinese in BLCU on campus or online)

Sep. 10st ~.25th, 2022

4. Requirements

• Photo Content: the selected photos should reflect the moments of your learning Chinese either on campus or online with BLCU, such as glimpses of the classroom, group photos with teachers and classmates, and the sceneries of the campus, etc. Photos must be original, authentic in content, and relevant to the theme of the event. The spirit conveyed by the work must be positive and sincere.
• No addition or deletion of the original impact, no synthesis, addition or other technical processing is allowed, except for the adjustment of photo’s color, contrast and saturation.
• Photos should be in JPEG electronic file format only with a single sheet size 1M~5M. Color, or black and white with either a single frame or group photos is all acceptable. Group photos cannot exceed 3 pieces, and each group counts as 1 piece.
• Please provide author's names, nationalities, contact information, and names of shooting places attached document files of photo titles and stories (200 words) in your email.

Please email your photos to eblcu@blcu.edu.cn using the following format to label your email: Name-Nationality- Title of the work. For example: Mark Kim-China-Study in the Library

6. Selection methods

• Based on the principles of openness, justice and fairness, this activity adopts a combination of judge’s choice and online voting to rank submitted photos.
• Judges will choose 30 outstanding photos to be uploaded on the website www.eblcu.com . We sincerely invite you to vote for your favorites. The results and the voting method for the next step will be notified on Sept. 26th.

7. Prize

A souvenir of the 60th anniversary of Beijing Language and Culture University that is worth 100-500 RMB will be awarded to the winners of the competition.

8. Agreements

• All the participants must guarantee the originality of their submission without violating any copyrights, portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights and other legitimate rights and interests of any third party. Otherwise, participants shall receive relevant legal consequences.
• All submitted photos will not be returned and subjected to the sponsor’s rights to use, reproduce, exhibit, online broadcast, compile, etc. without any charges.
• This activity does not provide compensation for entries or winners, but the sponsor guarantees to give credits to the contributors.
• Once the submission is completed, we assume that participants have fully agreed to all the contents of this notice.
